Discover the flora and fauna in Hungary.
The Sas-Hegy Nature Reserve spans over 30 hectares and is located in a metropolis with a population of 2 million people. It presents a set of flora and dolomites typical of the country, as well as hundreds of plants from the Mediterranean and the Russian Steppes.
Visitors can discover the flora and fauna during guided tours and also an exhibition in the site's gallery. All the plants and animals here are under strict protection.
You can also see rare animals such as the eresus cinnabaresus spider whose small male has red on its abdomen and four black spots, or the Pannonian lizard, which has legs yet moves like a serpent. Enjoy the stunning view of the Hungarian capital.
